About Michael Barnaart

The work of Dutch fashion designer Michael Barnaart best translates as a combination of fashion, graphic design and art. Since 2024, he has been living and working in France on his now-famous collection of knitted and jersey dresses. The designs are sleek, with seemingly simple lines and bright colors, yet with a subtle eye for detail. And they are very wearable. Several of his designs have been exhibited in various museums worldwide. In addition to fashion, he also designs jewelry such as brooches that share the same recognizable graphic look.
