Fixum is a unique candlestick that adapts to different candle thicknesses. The simple but extremely balanced construction ensures that any candle remains stable and completes the composition. The name Fixum is Latin for attached/fastened/fixed.

This colour scheme was specially designed by Floris Hovers for Museum Voorlinden and is available in a limited edition.

About Floris Hovers

Floris Hovers (born 1976) graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven and worked for designer Piet Hein Eek. In addition to chairs, tables, lamps, and interior objects, Hovers designs colourful toy cars, animal figures, and imaginative miniature cities. Part of his work is produced independently. In 2011, he received the Sanoma Woonaward for ‘Young Talent’. His series of miniature vehicles called Arche Toys is included in the permanent collection of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.
