Constructed from Meccano pieces, this lamp is part of a unique series by Dutch designer Billy Leliveld. Each lamp in the series is hand made in Rotterdam and comes with a certificate of authentication.

About Oom Jan
Rotterdam designer and art-director Billy Leliveld received a huge collection of Meccano from his uncle (‘oom’) – named Jan – in 2011. He thanked him with a hand-made Meccano lamp for his uncle’s bedside table and now continues to make lots of these lamps using these more than than 100-year-old construction toys.
